Reclaimed Barn Wood Chair or Side Table | Box Joint Design

Our Barn Wood Box Joint Bench/Table is a natural, rustic, and organic creation from multiple barn wood boards carefully interconnected to create a unique appearance and a comfortable place to relax. There is plenty of the naturally weathered texture along with some nicely milled and shaped areas, and each board will vary in color, texture, grain pattern weathering, and other character creating a mosaic of rustic features into one piece—which would be a fantastic addition to your space.

◊ The size of the bench 18” tall x 17½” wide x 18” long. Custom size requests are encouraged.

◊ The bench/table is constructed of 4x4 barn wood boards. The barn wood is salvaged by us in the Greater Salt Lake City area.

◊ There will likely be signs of first use such as nail holes, bracket marks, and weathering—lots and lots of weathering.

◊ The boards are very securely attached together to create a surprisingly sturdy bench/table. Assembly hardware is sometimes visible on one of the sides.

◊ The ends of each board are cut clean, the edges rounded and sanded smooth.

◊ The boards interlock at the corners creating a box joint appearance.

◊ All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and then finished with a clear hard wax oil.

◊ European standards rate the finish safe for children’s toys. German standards rate the finish as resistant to stains from water, coffee, wine, and the like.

◊ The finish helps to lock in many potential slivers, but we still recommend no bare bottom sitting.
