◊ The inside dimensions are 16” x 16” x 2" deep; the outside dimensions are about 18.5" x 18.5" x 3" deep; custom size requests welcome.

◊ The color of the reclaimed wood [usually cedar] may vary from creamy white to dark brown and usually varies from one part of a board to another.

◊ If you select "unfinished" we will sand and prepare all the wood parts, but will not apply any finish or stain which allows you to customize the color and appearance.

◊ If you select "clear finish" we will apply an all-natural clear hard wax oil finish to all the wood parts, which will highlight the grain and character of the wood.

◊ If you select one of the finish colors we will apply the same hard wax oil, but with natural pigments; this finish will still highlight the character of the wood, but will push the overall tone to the selected color.

◊ You will choose one of four backer options:
1. Barn wood - naturally weathered and unfinished
2. Reclaimed wood - your finish selection also applies to this backer
3. Natural MDF - gives you the best price and ideal for painting
4. Natural Cork - 1/4" thick cork on a 1/4" thick backer
**On some of the backers there will be different oil finish options.

◊ For easy and secure hanging we attach a French Cleat in your choice of horizontal or vertical orientation-just put in the notes on the order which orientation you want.

◊ Access to the box is via the slide out clear acrylic (plexiglass) front.
