Our Box Joint Bench/Table is a natural, rustic, and organic creation from multiple barn wood boards carefully interconnected to create a unique appearance and a comfortable place to relax. There is plenty of the naturally weathered texture along with some nicely milled and shaped areas, and each board will vary in color, texture, grain pattern weathering, and other character creating a mosaic of rustic features into one piece—which would be a fantastic addition to your space.

◊ As feet, each bench has four leveling glides which helps the bench to slide over hard surfaces while protecting that surface.
**If you would rather have rubber feet to help hold the bench in place on hard surfaces, let us know in the notes when you order.

◊ The bench/table is constructed of 4x4 barn wood boards. The barn wood is salvaged by us in the Greater Salt Lake City area.

◊ There will likely be signs of first use such as nail holes and bracket marks and weathering—lots and lots of weathering.

◊ The boards are very securely attached together to create a surprisingly sturdy bench/table. Assembly hardware is sometimes visible on one of the sides.

◊ The ends of each board are cut clean, the edges rounded and sanded smooth.

◊ The boards interlock at the corners creating a box joint appearance.

◊ There are three options for finish. Unfinished. Clear Hard Wax Oil Finish which will darken and deepen the colors. 2k Invisible which maintains the wood's original color as much as possible.

◊ European standards rate the Hard Wax Oil Finish safe for children’s toys. German standards rate this finish as resistant to stains from water, coffee, wine, and the like.

◊ Both finishes helps to lock in many potential slivers, but we still recommend no bare bottom sitting.
