Fireplace Box Mantel | Barn Wood - Weathered Urban Wood | choose your size

These floating mantels are created by skinning a plywood box with 1/2" thick boards. They are designed to easily slide over an existing mantel or as a lightweight option to create a mantel where one does not yet exist!

◊ Dimensions listed are exterior. Interior dimensions are approximately 2" smaller in each direction.

◊ The wood is naturally weathered with the texture and color variation that come with it. The overall color is gray with variations from white to brown.

◊ There are three finish options:
1. Unfinished--the weathered wood is left as is, unprotected.
2. Clear Hard Wax Oil--this penetrating oil finish provides superior protection against slivers and stains and significantly darkens and deepens the color of the wood.
3. Invisible Protect--maintains the original weathered appearance with no change in color while offering sliver and stain protection.

◊ Wooden cleat included for mounting with small-headed screws to mount the mantel to the cleat and drywall screws to mount cleat to wall. Bit for small-headed screws included.
